Tumblr’s Role Among LGBTQ+ Artists

Fantastic article at Artsy about how Tumblr Helped a Generation of LGBTQ+ Artists Come of Age. I hadn’t really thought about it, but yes, Tumblr was – and continues to be – one of the go-to places for LGBTQ+ people, artists, and disenfranchised people of all sorts.

Like a lot of us, I went through a major “Tumblr phase” for a while. I haven’t used it for a long time, but reading this article inspired me to check Tumblr for quilting content. To my surprise (I don’t know why I should be surprised) there’s a ton of great stuff in the #quilting tag.

It inspired me to make an Edge Case Quilting Tumblr account. Follow us there for rebloggy goodness.
